Spin the globe and point to anywhere in the world — there’s probably a nightclub there. We turned to The World’s Finest Clubs, a membership organization that helps people choose their next clubbing vacation, to get a bead on where to go.
They offer members the luxury of having a “dedicated nightlife adviser,” someone who manages access to sought-after venues like bars and beach clubs.
So many choices
Before you’re dazzled by the range of choices, search by type. Are you looking for clubs, restaurants or bars, or perhaps all three? Scroll through nearly 100 destinations around the world.
Germany is known for its clubs: visit Gibson Club in Frankfurt or The Pearl in Berlin. Head to Milan for Justme Milano, billed as “a true clubbing work of art.” There’s video to convince you that you’ll be welcomed like the VIP you are, with the finest performers and people to engage you. Elite special events, corporate dinners and signature drinks await you.
Feeling beachy? Visit Bagatelle St. Tropez, a restaurant, nightclub, lounge club and beach club — very specific distinctions for different people’s tastes. Dress code ranges from swimsuits to black tie. They have international DJs, live music and entertainment, an open-air space with a pool and of course a private beach. Members have a nightlife concierge, access to venues and events and experiences for the high-end traveler.
For a bird’s eye view of downtown Dubai, Cé La Vi offers “multisensorial journeys” that include music, adult beverages and cuisine. The venue reflects its Southeast Asian roots, using all the senses to create experiences guests will never forget. Contemporary Asian dining partners with a skybar, club lounge and pool deck for admiring the night skies.
Spin the globe
Take another spin around the globe and maybe you’ll land on Denmark, where the Chateau Motel is listed as Copenhagen’s “new nocturnal epicenter for the audacious souls of all colors and crafts.” There you’ll be met with light installations in the courtyard, artworks and a full bar. The tables are communal and there may be a game of dice going on while you’re ordering your draft beer. If the lounge isn’t your cup of tea, head over to the two Tokyo-themed karaoke rooms, complete with disco balls. “No matter if you’re a suit or sport a Mohawk … energy is the ticket in.”
If your tastes are a little more refined, there’s no place like Paris. Manko brings a Peruvian fusion cuisine to the table along with cabaret and burlesque shows and well-known DJs. The venue was created by three professionals — a chef, a global hospitality executive and a Canadian singer and actor — who chose the name Manko to honor a legendary Incan son of the Sun God. The interior reflects that inspiration with “noble materials” of wood, gold and brass.
